To provide a molecule small enough to be synthesized without need of transforming a living organism with a nucleic acid encoding the corresponding peptide, and presenting to the living body various different methods of administration, the molecule is bioactive, especially antibacterial, concretely anti-bacillus.
The invention includes: a use of a molecule containing a main chain having 2-35 non-hydrogen atoms concerning the chain length, having at least two bulky oleophilic groups shared-coupling to the main chain, and having cationic groups at least one more than anionic groups, when a medical agent is produced for instabilizing cell membrane of microorganisms; and a use of a molecule containing a main chain having 2-35 non-hydrogen atoms concerning the chain length, having one ultra-bulky oleophilic group containing at least nine non-hydrogen atoms, and cationic groups at least two more than anionic groups, as a membrane-acting antibacterial agent; and specifically a peptide including a peptide derivative and peptide-like substance.
