To obtain a novel antibacterial compound and to provide a method for producing the same.
The compound is represented by formula (I). The method for producing the compound of formula (I) comprises culturing microorganisms belonging to the genus Fundibacter and capable of producing the compound of formula (I) to form and accumulate the compound of formula (I) in the culture and collecting the compound of formula (I) from the culture.
