Abstract:
To provide an antibacterial fabric using a composite fiber including a copper-alloy yarn.SOLUTION: A production method of the present invention includes the steps of: supplying a proper amount of a copper-alloy raw material containing high-purity electrolytic copper, adding a proper amount of a metal element thereto, and performing mixing through high-temperature fusion to obtain a copper-alloy solution; then directly forming a copper-alloy yarn through a casting method; then repeating processing for imparting tensile strength a plurality of times to produce a thin, flexible copper-alloy fiber yarn by pultrusion molding; thereafter proportionally arranging the copper-alloy fiber yarn and a plurality of polyester-based multifilament fiber spun yarns, producing a yarn by blending them through interknitting or interweaving to form an antibacterial spun yarn; completing a yarn body to produce, by braiding, a copper-alloy yarn composite yarn which is improved in elasticity and flexibility and has natural bacteriostasis sustainable for a long period; and completing an antibacterial fabric which is directly knitted or woven by using a plurality of the copper-alloy yarn composite yarns and elastic fiber yarns, and which has excellent elasticity and flexibility and has natural bacteriostasis sustainable for a long period, using composite fibers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
