Abstract:
To provide a functional fiber which is an antibacterial fiber well compositing an antibacterial activity possessed by pearl powder with a fiber material and having the antibacterial activity.
The new functional fiber which is the antibacterial fiber comprises 100 pts.mass of cellulose with 0.1-15 pts.mass of the pearl powder having <3 μm particle diameter and ≤1 μm average particle diameter and has the antibacterial activity imparted thereto. A method for producing the fiber and a textile product using the functional fiber are disclosed.
