Abstract:

To provide an antibiotic that exhibits a high antibiosis and is useful for various uses such as a medicine, etc.

In the antibiotic including at least one of an antibiotic selected from a penicillin-based, a tetracycline-based and a chloramphenicol-based antibiotic as an active ingredient, a prenylcinnamic acid derivative having a structure represented by general formula (1) (wherein R1 is hydrogen or a dimethylallyl group; R2 is hydrogen, a dimethylallyl group or a -OR3 group; and R3 is hydrogen or a dimethylallyl group and at least one of R1-R3 is a dimethylallyl group) is also used.
