Abstract:
To provide a novel antibody-drug conjugate that can couple a larger number of active units (Drug).SOLUTION: In the present invention, by using one or a plurality of cysteine residues or cysteine derivative residues as a drug connecting carrier and by simultaneously coupling one or a plurality of drug molecules at a limited binding site of an antibody, a drug having higher payload and low toxicity is selected to prepare an ADC (antibody-drug conjugate) product, and an ADC product with a large treatment region is obtained. An antibody-drug conjugate prepared by the method of the present invention, in a case where the total number of drug molecules to be coupled is drastically reduced comparing with an antibody-drug conjugate that can connect only one drug molecule at the same site, can still exert the same inhibitory effect or killing effect against a tumor cell.SELECTED DRAWING: None
