Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce an anticoagulative protein pp4-X by transforming an animal cell of bacterium, yeast, etc., with a vector transferring DNA sequence coding pp4-X and containing specific codes and then, expressing the vector.
CONSTITUTION: A DNA sequence coding pp4-X and containing specific codes is transferred into a vector. Then, a bacterial, yeast or animal cell is transformed by using the vector and the transformant is expressed to produce pp4-X. A polyclonal or monoclonal antibody specific to the pp4-X and obtained from pp4-X or a part of pp4-X having antigen activity is formed. Further, a protein having pp4-X activity and containing a specific amino acid sequence or a mutant or a variant of the protein is formed.
