PURPOSE: To obtain the titled pharmaceutical containing can anthracycline based compound or a blend thereof with a polyether based anticoccidial agent as an active ingredient.
CONSTITUTION: An anticoccidial agent, containing an anthracycline based compound (a compound having the skeleton expressed by the formula; cinerubin-B, daunomycin or aclacinon) or a blend thereof with a polyether based anticoccidial agent (e.g. monensin or salinomycin) as an active ingredient and useful for domestic animals and fowls The agent exhibits synergistic improved effects by using the respective ingredients together. Examples of the dosage form include dust, granule, tablet, powder, capsule, premix, solution and emulsion. The agent is blended in a does so as to provided 0.0005W0.02%, preferably 0.001W0.005% in a feed.
