Title:
ANTICORROSION PERMANENT MAGNET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3411605
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an Fe-B-Ra permanent magnet having a stable and high magnet characteristic that has a good adhesion with an Fe-B-Ra permanent magnet base and that prevents the elution on the surface of the magnet and that has a very small decline in the magnet characteristic from the original level after it undertakes a long-time shelf test in a specific temperature and specific humidity atmosphere.
CONSTITUTION: An Fe-B-Ra magnet body is dipped in a tin-alkoxide compound solution or the solution is sprayed on the magnet body. After that, the surface of the magnet body is dried and heat-treated at 200-450°C for 30 seconds-10 hours to be coated. Then, resin such as epoxy resin and thermosetting acrylic resin is applied onto the magnet body in the thickness of 25μm or lower by a well-known method wherein the resin is first applied by a spraying or dipping method and then is burned. By this method, there is hardly any deterioration in the magnet characteristic even after a shelf test of a temperature 80°C, a relative humidity 90% and 1000 hours.
