PURPOSE: To simply and exactly form an anticorrosive layer on a steel sheet pile by bonding a thin synthetic resin molding to the surface to be covered of the steel sheet pile through an adhesive.
CONSTITUTION: A thin synthetic resin layer molding 6 having a shape nearly matching with the surface shape of a steel sheet pile 2, molded by extrusion, is closely lapped on one side of the sheet pile 2 with an adhesive layer 7, and they are pressed together by press rolls to manufacture the steel sheet pile having an anticorrosive covering layer 5 formed by integrally joining the molding 6 and the sheet pile 2 through the adhesive layer 7. The steel sheet pile 2 has couplers bent outwards to form grooves of small inside diameters along both side edges of the pile 2.
