Title:
ANTIDAZZLE SPECTACLES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1172755
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide antidazzle spectacles which prevent the dazzle by the headlight of an oncoming car during the automobile driving in the nighttime and prevent the front side and left side from darkening. SOLUTION: A pair of partial antidazzle filters 12L, 12R are riveted to both left and right ends 11L, 11R of a frame 11 and a detaining member 13 for freely attachably and detachably mounting at spectacles 20 is rotatably mounted at the central part of the frame 11. Dyeing parts 121L, 121R which have high abssorptance to a dazzling region at visible rays and are nearly transparent to the visible rays of other wavelengths are formed on the right side and upper side from the central part of the partial antidazzle filters 12L, 12RC and the parts 122L, 122R exclusive thereof are nearly transparent to the light of all the wavelength regions at the visible rays. The dyeing parts 121L, 121R are so formed as to have no distinct boundaries with the transparent parts 122L, 122R and to have the dyeing density gradually increasing toward the right side and the upper side (to increase a dazzling absorption effect).
