Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition improved in permanent antielectrostatic properties, mechanical properties and heat stability by mixing a specified func tional styrene resin with a polyamideimide elastomer. CONSTITUTION:A polyamideimide elastomer of a relative viscosity >=1.5 at 30 deg.C is obtained by polymerizing caprolactam with a tribasic or tetrabasic aromatic polycarboxylic acid which can form at least one imide ring, 30-85wt.% mixture of at least 50wt.% polyoxyethylene glycol with another polyoxyalkylene glycol and optionally a 2-10C diamine at 150-300 deg.C while keeping the water content of the formed polymer at 0.1-1wt.%. 70-97wt.% styrene resin containing 0.5-10wt.% at least one functional group selected from among hydroxyl, carboxylic anhydride, amino, mercapto, oxazoline, imide, amide, epoxy and halogen groups is mixed with 30-3wt.% said elastomer.
