To obtain an antifogging composition quickly dryable and curable, free from any problem of safety and human health, and giving a coating film of high mechanical strength, and to obtain an agricultural film using the antifogging agent, and to provide a method for producing the agricultural film.

This antifogging composition which is curable under ultraviolet radiation essentially comprises a hydrophilic inorganic colloid, an ultraviolet- curable resin, and an ultraviolet polymerization initiator. This composition is prepared, for example, by adding silica colloid, water and an ultraviolet polymerization initiator in succession under stirring to an ethanol solution of an epoxy acrylate-based oligomer and an epoxy methacrylate monomer. The other objective agricultural film laminated with an antifogging layer is obtained by coating a synthetic resin film with polyethylene layers on both sides with this composition followed by irradiating the composition with ultraviolet rays to cure the composition on the film surface.
