Abstract:
To provide an antifouling agent for controlling underwater fouling due to aquatic injurious periphyton which is considered to have high safety to fish and shellfish or human bodies and can be chemically synthesized relatively easily.
The antifouling agent against the aquatic injurious periphyton comprises a compound represented by chemical formula 1 (wherein X1 is an isocyano group or a formamide group, R1 represents an alkyl group, R2 represents an alkyl group, a hydroxy group, an alkoxy group, an acyloxy group, an aryl group, an aralkyl group or an ester group).
