Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an antifouling coating composition which can show a stable antifouling effect for a long time and is suitable for use especially in sea water.

CONSTITUTION: An acetoacetylated polymer comprising, in the form of the final copolymer, an acetoacetylated monomer and a monomer copolymerizable therewith is used as a vehicle component. This component is mixed with an inorganic copper compound and/or copper and thiabendazole.
