Abstract:

To provide an antifouling material with which, even when contaminants of a combustion product such as carbon black and an oil content, etc., included in an exhaust gas adhere, they are cleaned from a surface by itself (self-cleaning), or can be easily cleaned.

The antifouling material comprises a copolymer obtained by polymerizing a composition comprising a compound represented by formula (1) [wherein G is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; J and Q are each independently a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, -CH2OH, -CH2CH2OH, -CH2CH2CH2OH, or -CH2CH(OH)CH2OH, provided that a combination of J and Q, at the same time, being in case of the hydrogen atom and the hydrogen atom, the hydrogen atom and the methyl group, or the methyl group and the methyl group, is excepted], and another compound having at least two (meth)acryloyl groups in a molecule.
