To provide an antifouling paint composition which can be applied onto ships, port facilities, buoys, pipelines, bridges, conduits in power plants, underwater stations, offshore oil rig facilities, aquaculture nets, stationary nets, etc., to inhibit the attachment and growth of aqueous organisms on their surfaces over a long term.
The paint composition contains (II) 1-100 pts.wt. oxyalkylene group-containing organopolysiloxane against (I) 100 pts.wt. vinyl copolymer obtained by copolymerizing (a) a polymerizable unsaturated monomer containing an alkoxysilyl group and/or a polymerizable unsaturated monomer having a polymerizable unsaturated group and a siloxane binding site within a molecule with (b) another polymerizable unsaturated monomer which is copolymerizable with the monomer (a).
