Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifouling paint composition which can be stored for a long term and maintain an antifouling effect, when formed into a coated film, in seawater for a long term.
SOLUTION: A non-aqueous dispersion resin (A) having 20-400 of acid value comprising a hydrophilic core component having acidic radicals and a hydrophobic shell component having no acid radicals dispersed in a hydrocarbon solvent is mixed with an antifouling agent including a metal (B) and a monobasic acid compound (C) having a carboxyl group. Further a ratio of acid group number in the non-aqueous dispersion resin (A) to a carboxyl group number in the monobasic acid compound (C) is 0.3-3.0.
