Abstract:
The present invention is an antifouling paint composition containing (A) organopolysiloxane having at least two silanol groups in one molecule, (B) a cross linking agent, and (C) inorganic copper. According to the present invention, an organopolysiloxane-based antifouling paint composition which can suppress the scattering of dust during spray painting and which gives an antifouling coating film having excellent coating efficiency and exhibiting a high degree of antifouling capability is obtained. The antifouling paint composition according to the present invention can have excellent coating efficiency during spray painting and suppress dust scattering, so that the present invention is capable of reducing adverse effects, such as poor adhesion of paint or the like and crawling on a coated surface in the surroundings, which are caused by the scattering of spray dust to the surroundings during painting, shortening painting time, and reducing paint consumption.
