Abstract:
Disclosed are an anti-fouling system using ballast water, and a method for controlling same. The anti-fouling system using ballast water according to the present invention comprises a ballast tank arranged in a ship to store ballast water, a ballast water treatment device for generating materials for sterilizing marine life contained in the ballast water introduced into the ballast tank, and a spray device for spraying the ballast water discharged from the ballast tank to the surface of the ship hull. Accordingly, the construction costs of the anti-fouling system can be reduced.
