To provide an antifungal polyester composite fiber which can be processed at a low temperature and can give a product, such as a woven or knitted fabric or a nonwoven fabric, having good dimensional stability and excellent texture, flexibility, mechanical characteristics and flame retardancy, when thermally adhered.
Provided is the polyester composite fiber formed from: a polyester A which includes a dicarboxylic acid component containing terephthalic acid as a main component and a diol component containing 1,6-hexanediol in an amount of 50 mol%, contains a crystal-nucleating agent in an amount of 0.01-5.0 mass%, and has a melting point (TmA) of 100-150C and a DSC curve satisfying a specific expression and showing temperature-falling crystallization determined by DSC; and a polyester B containing an antifungal agent containing a triazole-based organic compound as a main component.
