To provide an antiglare film capable of achieving satisfactory balance between suppression of dazzle and improvement in transmissive clearness, and to provide a display using the same.
The antiglare film is constituted by laminating on a transparent support an antiglare hard coat layer in which an antiglare hard coat layer forming composition containing light transmitting particulate in a binder including an actinic energy ray curing resin and a photo polymerization initiator is cured. A refractive index difference between the cured substance of the binder and the light transmitting particulate is 0 to 0.05. In the surface of the antiglare hard coat layer, an arithmetic mean roughness (Ra) measured on the basis of JIS B 0601-1994 is 0.01 to 0.30 m. A mean interval (Sm) of irregularity is 10 to 300 m. It is preferred that inorganic particulate having a mean particle size smaller than that of the light transmitting particulate is included in the binder of the antiglare hard coat layer forming composition.
