Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiglare film, a polarizing plate, a liquid crystal panel and an image display device, in which antiglare property can be obtained to such a degree that reflection barely causes troubles, and good antidazzle property and good black color feeling can be obtained.SOLUTION: In one embodiment, an antiglare film 10 includes a light transmissive base material 11 and an antiglare layer 12 formed on the light transmissive base material 11 and having a rugged surface 12A. The antiglare layer 12 includes a plurality of organic fine particles 13, a plurality of inorganic fine particles 14 and a binder resin 15. An arithmetic mean value is 70%-95%, with regard to a transparent image sharpness degree of the antiglare film 10 measured by using optical combs having 0.125 mm, 0.25 mm, 0.5 mm, 1.0 mm and 2.0 mm widths. An absolute value is 10% or less, with regard to a difference from the transparent image sharpness measured using the arithmetic mean value and each optical comb.
