To provide an antiglare light diffusing member which has a sufficient reflection preventing property of outdoor daylight and high contrast, has no glare and has excellent perceptivity when used for display.

The antiglare light diffusing member has an antiglare layer comprising a binder matrix and particles on a transparent base material. The antiglare light diffusing member (1) is characterized in that arithmetic mean roughness (Ra1) is less than 0.008 when cutoff wavelength c is 0.008 mm and arithmetic mean roughness (Ra2) is 0.1 to 0.5 m when cutoff wavelength c is 0.8 mm among two sorts of arithmetic surface roughness (Ra1, Ra2) regulated by Japanese Industrial Standards-B0601-1994 and further internal haze is 1 to 7%.
