Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an antihepatitis agent containing proline as an active component, useful for the prevention, the retardation of progress or the amelioration of hepatitis, especially effective against heavy metal toxipathic hepatitis, alcoholic hepatitis and hepatitis after the crisis of fulminant hepatitis and free from side action.
CONSTITUTION: This antihepatitis agent contains proline, its pharmacologically permissible salt, derivative or their mixture as an active component. The administration dose of the antihepatitis agent is 1-10g, preferably about 1.5-4.0g for adult. The agent can extremely easily be produced, stored and prepared since the active component of the antihepatitis agent is a single kind of amino acid.
