Abstract:
To provide an anti-microbial activity-enhancing peptide capable of enhancing the antimicrobial activity of a peptide-based antimicrobial substance but having almost no antimicrobial activity as itself.
This anti-microbial activity-enhancing peptide prepared by modifying the amino acid sequence of precursor region peptide of an antimicrobial peptide precursor is provided by converting carboxyl group which is an acidic amino acid residue contained in the precursor region peptide, to amide group.
