Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a natural product derived antimicrobial agent and antimicrobial perfume having excellent antimicrobial performances, and a cosmetic used highly safely and formulated with the antimicrobial agent or the antimicrobial perfume.
SOLUTION: This antimicrobial agent or antimicrobial perfume is characterized by comprising an extract of a plant of the genus Helichrysum. The cosmetic is characterized by comprising the antimicrobial agent or the antimicrobial perfume as an antimicrobial component.
