To provide an antimicrobial antifogging resin composition based on a resin composition curable with actinic energy rays, provided with anticlouding property and antimicrobial activity, having broad antimicrobial spectrum, free from troubles such as curing hindrance in the actinic energy ray irradiation, exhibiting excellent durability even in the use contacting with water and excellent in overall characteristics including physical properties by using a specific water-soluble antimicrobial component and a specific water- soluble actinic energy ray curable resin and provide a cured product of the composition.
This antimicrobial antifogging resin composition is composed of a hydrophilic resin composition curable by actinic energy rays and containing (A) a water-soluble antimicrobial component derived from extract of the pip of citric fruit and (B) a water-soluble resin curable by actinic energy ray irradiation and produced by adding (meth)acryloyl group to citric acid ester of polyethylene glycol. The component A is preferably a water-soluble antimicrobial component A1 extracted from the pip of grapefruit.
