Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the subject method for producing a resin capable of efficiently extracting and concentrating an agricultural chemical component in environmental water without deteriorating or losing the component.
CONSTITUTION: The objective method for producing a resin for concentrating an agricultural chemical is characterized by producing the resin according to the aqueous suspension copolymerization of (a) a compound having at least two functional groups expressed by formula I (R1 denotes H or CH3) in one molecule with (b) a compound expressed by formula II (R2 and R3 each independently denote H or CH3; x denotes an integer of 1-30) and (c) a compound expressed by formula III (R4 denotes H or CH3; y denotes an integer of 12-24) so that the molar ratio of the compounds {(b)/[(a)+(b)+(c)]} may be within the range of 0.05-3 and the molar ratio of the compounds {(c)/[(a)+(b)+(c)]} may be within the range of 0.1-0.5.
