PURPOSE: To provide the subject detergent excellent in the cleaning property and the staining-preventing property and useful for medical tools, etc., by dispersing and dissolving an anionic surfactant, etc., an alkali metal silicate salt, a trichlorohydroxydiphenyl ether and a specific alcohol in a specific ratio in water.

CONSTITUTION: (A) 0.2-10 g/l of an anionic surfactant and/or nonionic surfactant, (B) 0.3-1.5 g/l of an alkali metal silicate salt, (C) 0.005-0.5 g/l of 2,4,4'-trichloro-2'- hydroxydiphenyl ether, and (D) 0.3-1.5 g/l of a ≤9C aliphatic saturated alcohol are dispersed and dissolved in water to provide the objective detergent.
