Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an antioscillation device for an ocean structure which is constituted to reduce incurring of an energy loss, perform operation by means of a low output, reduce the size of a drive mechanism, facilitate control, produce an antioscillation effect despite of a frequency of oscillation, produce an effect even during low speed running and a stop, reduce an installation space, simplify structure, and reduce weight.
CONSTITUTION: An antioscillation device for an ocean structure comprises a support stand 12 fixed to an ocean structure 1 and having a recessed curve 11 in the oscillating direction of the ocean structure; a moving body 14 moved over a recessed curve; a traversing device 30 to vertically movably traverse the moving body; and a control device to detect oscillation of the ocean structure and drive the traverse mechanism so that the moving body is moved over the recessed curve by displacing a phase for the oscillation. The natural frequency of the moving body moving over the reversed curve is set so that it approximately coincides with the natural frequency in the oscillating direction of the ocean structure.
