To provide an antioxidant for rubbers, for improving the anti-oxidizing effect sustainability of a vulcanized rubber composition.
The antioxidant for the rubbers comprises an anti-oxidizing substance for rubbers, and a steroid. The antioxidant for rubbers is preferably obtained by supporting the anti-oxidizing substance for rubbers on the steroid. In infrared spectroscopic measurement, the peaks based on O-H stretching vibration and the peaks based on C=O stretching vibration contained in the steroid supporting the anti-oxidizing substance for rubbers are preferably different from the peaks based on O-H stretching vibration and the peaks based on C=O stretching vibration contained in the steroid not supporting the anti-oxidizing substance for rubbers.
