Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent damage caused by short-circuit when a load does not produce a back electromotive force, by selecting the value of a capacitor connected to the output of an antiparallel DC power source device equipped with thyristor rectifiers so that the capacitor performs surge absorption as well as extinction of arc of the thyristors.
