Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an antiphlogistic, analgesic agent having improved pharmacological activity, and reduced side effects, containing 2-(α,α,α-trifluoro-m- toluidino)-nicotinic acid (niflumic acid) salt of 4-[(5-chloro-2-oxo-3-benzothiazolyl) acetyl]-1-piperazine-ethanol (thiaramide) as an effective component.

CONSTITUTION: An antiphlogistic, analgesic agent containing tharamide.niflumate as an effective component. The tharamide.niflumate has excellent effect to both actue and clonic inflammation, stronger analgesic activity than either of the components, and remarkably reduced acute toxicity and peptic ulcer-inducing activity.
