To provide tire assembly with a resistant performance to the occurrence of puncture.
This tire assembly 10 is provided with an inner tube 24 having an outer circumferential part 30 provided with a plurality of projected deflection means 32. The sectional surface of each deflection means 32 is similar to a hollow little finger. The tire assembly 10 also comprises tire liners 26 provided with ridge-shaped separating means 48, which are continuously surrounded around the circumference of the tire liner 26. The separating means 48 and the deflection means 32 are arranged so as to be engaged with each other. By this arrangement, the structure of the separating means 48 is useful for maintaining the finger shape of the deflection means when loaded. When a rivet or the other pointed article pierces through the tire, it is penetrated into the space between the deflection means 32 and the separating means 48 without being obstructed. At that time, the deflection means 32 is deflected by elasticity to one side, and the inserted article placed between the separating means 48 or lubricant and the deflection means 32 is deflected to one side in such a way that the delection means 32 do not receive friction. This is also applied to a tubeless tire.
