To provide an antireflection film which includes a hard coat layer and an antireflection layer on a transparent substrate, provides an antistatic function to the hard coat layer, suppresses occurrence of interference fringes, has no humidity dependency, is excellent in light resistance and has high transmittance.

An antireflection film 1 comprises a hard coat layer 12 and a low refractive index layer 13 in this order on a transparent substrate 11, with the hard coat layer containing carbon nano-tubes and fullerene, the average luminous reflectance on the surface of the low refractive index layer being 1.5% or less and the total light transmittance of the antireflection film being 85% or more.
