Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiskid brake device for a motorcycle to arrange a hydraulic unit at the central part of a car body and improve a brake operation feeling.
SOLUTION: A hydraulic pump unit 34 is mounted on the central part of a car body and a valve unit 36 to exert an oil pressure generated by a hydraulic pump unit 34 is arranged in the middle of a line 32, running from a brake master cylinder 30 to a front disc brake 20, separately from the hydraulic pump unit 34. The line 32 is arranged approximately along a front fork 12 and a valve unit 36 is securely disposed around the front fork 12.
