PURPOSE: To reduce the pulsation of the brake fluid pressure occurring at opening and closing of a inlet valve so as to suppress noise or pulsation, and also, improve pedal feeling, by giving the pattern for suppressing the sharp fluctuation of the brake fluid to the opening and closing signal to be applied to the inlet valve.
CONSTITUTION: The brake fluid pressure of the fluid-pressure circuit on the side of a master cylinder 12 is supplied to the wheel brake 14 of a wheel through an inlet valve 2. And, when the inlet valve 23 is opened or closed, the brake fluid pressure on the side of the master cylinder 12 raises the brake fluid pressure on the side of the wheel brake 14. At the time of this opening and closing operation, both brake fluid pressures oscillate and generate pulsation. Especially, the pulsation of the fluid pressure on the side of the master cylinder 12 causes noise or pulsation, or deteriorates the feeling of a brake pedal 11. So, the ripple of the brake fluid pressure is suppressed and the pulsation is reduced by giving the pattern to suppress the sharp ripple of the brake fluid to the opening and closing signal to be applied to the inlet valve 23 thereby performing the opening and closing operation of the inlet valve 23 slowly.
