To prevent an apparatus from sliding on an installation surface easily and esure an easy movement thereof in moving it even if an external force is applied to the apparatus installed on a flat surface of a desk or the like.

This device comprises a sucker 3, and a holding part having an engaging claw 4a, a tapered portion 4b and a suction hole 4c. The holding part 4 is inserted into a hole portion 1a formed in a casing 1 of an apparatus and locked to the casing 1 through the claw 4a. In installing the apparatus, the tapered portion 4b moves upward with respect to the hole portion 1a and the tapered portion 4b is fastened by the hole portion 1a so that the suction hole 4c is closed, and thereby the sucker 3 sucks an apparatus installation surface 5. In moving the apparatus from the installation surface 5, on the other hand, the hole portion 1a is moved upward by raising the apparatus, and thereby the fastened condition of the tapered portion 4b is released to allow air to enter the sucker 3 via the suction hole 4c for releasing the suction of the sucker 3 to the installation surface 5.
