Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable a car run on such undrivable icy and snow-clad road surface even in a studless tire, and to reduce a noise as well as to improve driving quality.
CONSTITUTION: A spike pin 9 being projected out of a tread surface is embedded in an antiskid device base body 5 made up of covering a metal or organic reinforced cord, being installed in a circumferential groove 4 to be formed in the circumferential direction in succession to a tread surface 3 of a pneumatic tire 2, by a covering material consisting of a rubber or plastic material, while this antiskid device base body is formed into endless ring form. In this connection, setting to the tire is easily performable by way of deflation of air in a tire tube.
