Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antislip pin, a mehtod for manufacturing it, a rubber composition for the pin and a tire used on snow ice for maintaining a tire gripping property for a long period of time without damaging the road surface.
SOLUTION: The antislip pin 1 is a molded product made of vulcanized rubber, and reinforced by staples. The staple is 1 to 50μm in diameter, 100 to 3000μm in length and 10 to 500 in aspect ratio, and oriented substantially perpendicular to the ground contact face of the pin. The above mentioned staples are incorporated in the rubber component of the rubber composition, this rubber composition is used in manufacture of the antislip pin and the above mentioned pins are used in the tire used on snow ice.
