Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance waterproofness, antistatic properties and mechanical strength by providing a conductive layer composed of a conductive substance- containing porous polytetrafluoroethylene resin on at least the singler surface of a base material layer composed of porous polytetrafluoroethylene and providing a resin layer thereon.
SOLUTION: A conductive layer composed of a porous polytetrafluoroethylene resin (PTFE) containing a conductive substance is provided on at least one surface of a base material layer composed of porous PTFE and a resin layer is provided thereon. The thickness of the base material layer is set to 5-100μm and the voids thereof are set to 65-85%. This base material layer imparts strength to a clothing material and has waterproof moisture permeability. The conductive substance is pref. a carbon powder with an average particle size of 0.05-0.3μm and the content thereof in the conductive layer is set to 1-50wt.%. The thickness of the conductive layer is set to 3-80μm and the voids thereof are almost equal to or larger than those of the base material layer. The resin layer is formed on the conductive layer as continuous film and the thickness thereof is set to 1-20μm.
