To provide an aqueous antistatic agent which is obtained by bringing an aqueous titanium composition into contact with an antistatic agent to mix each other, particularly an antistatic agent and is aqueous and capable of forming a film having extremely superior water resistance and resistance to washing.

The antistatic composition is obtained by bringing (a) an aqueous titanium composition composed of a titanium alkoxide, an aliphatic amine and/or a hydroxy carboxylic acid or (b) an aqueous titanium composition composed of a titanium alkoxide, an aliphatic amine and/or a hydroxy carboxylic acid, and a glycol represented by formula (I) (wherein R1, R2, R3, and R4 are each any one of hydrogen, an alkyl group, a hydroxyalkyl group, a carboxyalkyl, and an alkoxyalkyl group) into contact with an antistatic agent to mix each other, and can form an antistatic film having resistance to water and a detergent liquid.
