To provide an antistatic copolymer polyester composition which gives a fiber with controlled lowering of the properties and a higher level of antistaticity, even when a mono-component sold fiber is manufactured from the composition, to say nothing of a hollow fiber or a core/sheath fiber and is manufactured at a low cost because of the low material cost and a textile product composed of the composition.
The composition is a blend of (A) a copolymer polyester copolymerized with a specific amount of dicarboxylic acid component having a divalent aromatic hydrocarbon residue composed of ethylene terephthalate as the major repeating unit and expressed by general formula (I), (B) a polyoxyethylene glycol with a specific number-average molecular weight, (C) a metal salt of an alkyl sulfonate and/or (D) a metal salt of an alkylbenzenesulfonic acid at a specific ratio.
