Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide antistatic fiber that can have sufficient electroconductivity without use of carbon particles, thus developing sufficient antistatic effect and in addition develops several effects as electromagnetic shielding, antimicrobial, deodorizing and heat insulation effects, too.
SOLUTION: Fibers containing a metal having a large ionization tendency and fibers containing a metal having a smaller ionization tendency that of the above-stated metal are admixed to the objective antistatic fiber. In a usual embodiment, far-infrared rays-emitting fibers are also admixed. The metal of a larger ionization tendency is, for example, aluminum, while the small metal is copper.
