Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a sufficient antitick effect by linking the back side of a pile part of carpet with a gelatinized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin compd. contg. at least one kind of specific dialkyl ester benzene dicarboxylates.
CONSTITUTION: This carpet 10 is formed of a raw fabric 3 which consists of a base fabric 1 and piles 2 and a lining material 7 which has an upper layer 4 and a lower layer 5 and is provided with a fiber reinforcing layer 6 of a non-woven fabric or woven fabric, etc. In such a case, the gelatinized PVC compd. contg. the dialkyl ester of a phthalic acid of 1 to 7C both alkyl groups or a cured polyurethane resin compd. is used as the lining adhesive. The back side of the pile part 2 is lined with such lining adhesive. The dialkyl ester benzene dicarboxylates which consist essentially of diheptyl orthophthalate, diheptyl isophthalate, etc., as essential components and contain at least other one kind of dialkyl ester benzene dicarboxylates are used as the dialkyl ester benzene dicarboxylates.
