Title:
抗腫瘍の漢方薬組成物及びその揮発性油エキス
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP7026263
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
An application of a traditional Chinese medicine composition and a volatile oil extract thereof in preparation of an anti-tumor drug for inhibiting overexpression after mutation of a ras proto-oncogene. The traditional Chinese medicine composition consists of cloves, Villous Amomum Fruit, Chinese Star Anise, Cassia Bark, white pepper, Common Aucklandia Root, and dried ginger. The traditional Chinese medicine composition and the volatile oil extract thereof can significantly inhibit the Caenorhabditis elegans tumor-like multivulva phenotype due to overexpression of the ras proto-oncogene caused by let-60 mutation, so that the multivulva phenotype is transformed into a real vulva wild-type phenotype. The above result indicates that the traditional Chinese medicine composition and the volatile oil extract thereof have the effect of treating a tumor caused by overexpression of the ras gene, and can be used in the preparation of an anti-tumor drug for inhibiting overexpression after mutation of the ras proto-oncogene.
