To provide titanium oxide complex particles, a dispersion solution comprising the same improved in retention in the blood and accumulation in cancer cells with sufficiently expressing catalytic activity of titanium oxide particles excited by ultrasonic waves or ultraviolet rays.
The titanium oxide complex particles are prepared by binding a nonionic water-soluble polymer on the surface of titanium oxide particles through at least one functional group selected from a carboxy group, an amino group, a diol group, a salicylic acid group and a phosphoric acid group. The complex particles can be converted into a cytotoxin by irradiating ultrasonic waves or ultraviolet rays and can efficiently kill target cells to be killed such as cancer cells and the like.
