Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an antiviral composition applicable not only to pharmaceuticals but also to molded articles of resin and rubber and capable of keeping antibacterial and antiviral actions over a long period.
CONSTITUTION: A thiosulfato complex salt and a thiosulfato salt of at least one kind of metal selected from silver, copper and zinc are supported on a porous carrier. A part of the surface of the carrier is coated with silicon dioxide produced by the hydrolysis of an alkoxysilane.
