PURPOSE: To simplify the equipment construction by speaking to a management device and a preliminarily set report destination through an already provided telephone line by automatic call origination if necessary at the time of detecting the abnormality like a fire or a gas leak in a house.

CONSTITUTION: A security part 7 is connected to a telephone exchange 4; and if a sensor part 704 of a fire, a gas leak, trespass, or the like detects the abnor mality, the classification of the abnormality, the place of the occurrence, or the like is discriminated through a control part 702 based on sensor information stored in a storage part 703 and a warning is given by an alarm display part 705. When a user preliminarily performs a prescribed key operation before going out of the house, the control part 702 operates an automatic dial signal generating part 706 in accordance with prescribed procedures to automatically originate a telephone call to a designated place and reports the abnormality to the managing part if the abnormality confirming operation is not performed for a prescribed time after the occurrence of the abnormality. Thus, the system is easily and inexpensively constituted.
